This beautifully designed, spacious ground floor condo, Unit 1, has 2 bedrooms both with ocean views (rare) and 2 ensuite bathrooms. It is located directly on Half Moon Bay. As you enter this traditional Mexican inspired home you will be captivated by the true essence of living the tropical beachfront life. The open floor concept provides fresh tropical breezes and stunning views of the crystal clear Caribbean blue waters and beyond. With direct beachfront access from a private terrace, you will feel the white sands between your toes while you rest in tranquility under one of our beach palapas right outside your door. There is plenty of room to stretch out and relax in the step down lower level living space, with satellite TV, a small book library and games for your enjoyment. This condo shines with updated granite countertops, modern appliances, colorful Mexican tile, and flooring as well as beautiful wood finishes. The kitchen is fully stocked for your culinary needs.... just head to one of the local markets for groceries or ask our friendly property management team to arrange for a personal cook to create a delicious meal just for you. Views from the dining room and kitchen are even better, due to the raised floor level.

The condo has ample storage, closet space, built-in shelving, and nooks so you will have plenty of room for your belongings. There is even a safe for your valuables. A small cooler, snorkel fins, and folding beach chairs are provided for your use while you explore our local beaches. Bring your own snorkel gear or rent equipment from one of the dive shops just a short walk, bike ride or short golf cart ride down the street. Take in a swim with wild sea turtles in Akumal Bay or enjoy the day with the best snorkeling Half Moon Bay has to offer directly in front of the condo.

La Bahia is located in the beach community Akumal, specifically in North Akumal on the center of Half Moon Bay, located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, about halfway between Playa del Carmen and Tulum and just over an hour drive from the Cancun International Airport. Enjoy all that the Riviera Maya has to offer; just a short drive to Tulum, famous for its miles of pristine white sand beach next to the beautiful ancient Mayan ruins. Or the bustling seaside world-class tourist destination of Playa del Carmen, well-known for fantastic shopping, international cuisine, and exciting nightlife of 5th Ave is also just a quick drive or cab ride to the north. The possibilities are endless...

Akumal as well has its own variety of shops, a spa, bars, and fantastic eateries... From fine dining and cafes to casual beach bars including the famous La Buena Vida Beach Club (closed in 2020 due to COVID - please inquire to find out the current opening date) which is just a quick 5 min walk from the condo, and La Lunita is a 2 min walk.
